Home Grown Goodness

What Gainesville does well it does often. Outdoor farmer's markets, for example. There isn't a day goes by where one can't fine a local market for a variety of fresh produce, locally made goods or just about anything else you can imagine. On Wednesdays, it's the Union Street Farmer's Market in Gainesville for live music, baked goods and produce. On Thursdays, it's High Springs for more of the same. And Saturdays, all of Alachua County turns out at the County Farmers Market for vegetables, plants, pickles, preserves and fresh citrus. Other days of the week are covered as well. Just ask around.
