Conference & Meeting Grant
Visit Gainesville, Alachua County, FL offers a grant for meetings and conferences taking place in Alachua County. Individual grants cap at $10,000 and are available to corporate, association, or non-profit, public or privately -funded planners.
The purpose of the Conference Grant is to enhance Alachua County as a destination by contributing to the development of tourism as allowed by Section 125.0104, Florida Statutes, Chapter 38 of the Alachua County Code of Ordinances.
To qualify, meeting professionals must complete the grant application and satisfy a number of criteria including confirming that their event produced lodging room nights in Gainesville/Alachua County.
Priority for Conference Grant funding will be given to events that have the greatest potential of bringing visitors to Alachua County who will stay overnight in paid lodging at hotels, motels, bed & breakfasts, inns, RV parks and campgrounds.
