Five miles west of the University of Florida lies Haile Plantation, a village whose planning and style create an old fashioned sense of community. The Haile Village shopping plaza is at the heart of the 2,700 custom homes, townhouses, apartments and condominiums that make up Haile Plantation.
Haile Village’s restaurants, supermarket, boutiques, spas and gift shops are just a five minute walk from many of the homes. The shopping is diverse, from the Blue Bird Boutique, Charm Shoes & Pedicures, and two quality jewelers, Village Jeweler (a destination for many local shoppers) and Sanders Jewelers. Visit the Haile Village website to see all the options.
Haile Village features a variety of restaurants, including The Third Place, a full service bar and restaurant where people gather to meet friends and neighbors in the spirit of British pubs, a specialty ice cream shop, a pizzeria, and The Sisters for Breakfast featuring elegant breakfasts Wednesday through Sunday.
Each Saturday morning Haile Village hosts the Haile Village Farmers’ Market. You can listen to live music as you shop for locally grown organic produce, fresh baked goods and a variety of crafts. Open 8:30a until noon.
