UFSO PRESENTS UF

February 15 @ 7:20 am

Free
Hsiang Tu pianist

In this unique program, UFSO celebrates the UF School of Music in four distinct ways: with the East Coast premiere of UF Professor of Composition Scott Lee’s 2022 work “The Fire Beneath”; “star/ghost/mouth/sea,” the winner of the 2023 UF Call for Scores by women composers and part of the Women in Music initiative curated by UF doctoral student Jane Kozhenikova; the UFSO “People’s Choice” selection Danse Macabre; and a remarkable tour de force of Hsiang Tu’s UFSO debut as concerto soloist with the UFSO. Go Gators!
