Help us celebrate Earth Day and food sustainability! Learn how to grow a variety of Florida heritage
crops and prepare delicious, nutritionally dense meals. Pick up new multicultural recipes and
sample food from local chefs. Enjoy this family-friendly event with music, children’s activities, and
a variety of local vendors.

• Cooking demonstrations by local chefs
• Diversify the food you eat by buying and growing heritage crops
• Obtain growing tips from UF IFAS extension agents
• Learn about composting, repurposing, and recycling opportunities
• Celebrate Earth Day by supporting Make Alachua County Beautiful
• Learn about local sustainability initiatives from City of Gainesville and Alachua County officials
• Enjoy local arts and crafts from local vendors
