Ladysmith Black Mambazo

Ladysmith Black Mambazo has celebrated more than 60 years of joyous and uplifting melodies. Within this music are the intricate rhythms and harmonies of their native South African traditions. The a cappella vocal group has created a spirit that has touched a worldwide audience and garnered praise and accolades from a wide body of people, organizations, and countries.
In addition to their legendary work with Paul Simon on his 1986 album Graceland, Ladysmith Black Mambazo has recorded with numerous artists including Stevie Wonder, Dolly Parton, Sarah McLachlan, Josh Groban, Emmylou Harris, and Melissa Etheridge.
This performance is funded in part by the State of Florida through the Division of Arts and Culture and the National Endowment for the Arts.
