GNV Giving Garden: Benefit Farm-to-Table Dinner

March 16 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

$135 – $160
outdoor farm to table dinner

Celebrate the spring harvest with our community at this special Farm-to-Table Dinner. Gather and connect, nourish with seasonal ingredients, and support an equitable food system. This will be an intimate dinner, including a farm tour, live music, and communal eating – all to uplift the Giving Garden’s mission to expand access to food as medicine in Gainesville. All ticket proceeds directly benefit the 501c3 nonprofit farm.

Held at Cypress and Grove Brewing, this multi-course meal will be accompanied by beers intentionally crafted to pair with every dish. Special thanks to C&G’s head brewer for contributing his talents and time to develop a special beer menu to highlight local, seasonal food. Cypress and Grove is a community-oriented Gainesville businesses, dedicated to enriching local culture and providing a cherished watering hole for all walks of life to enjoy. Another big thank you to the head chef and culinary team of Afternoon Restaurant for preparing a nourishing meal with farm-fresh ingredients. Afternoon deeply values connecting people with quality, locally sourced food, and will be using crops grown at Gainesville’s small farms to prepare our dinner.

Agenda:

At 5:30 pm, guests will gather at the Giving Garden for a farm tour — walk among vegetable beds and learn what we are growing as the Spring Equinox approaches. Discover more about programs as a donation and education farm.

At 6 pm, guests will stroll to Cypress and Grove Brewing Co. (a 2-minute walk from the farm) to gather for libations and to find a seat at communal tables.

At 6:15 pm, Chef Phil of Afternoon Restaurant will present his first dinner course, with several delightful courses to follow throughout the evening. Guests who pay the additional $25 per ticket will receive a beer pairing with each course. Those who pay the normal ticket price, which does not include beer pairings, are welcome to purchase drinks throughout the night.

Tickets:

General Admission: $135 – Does not include beer pairings with every course.

Admission with Beer Pairings: $160 – Includes beer paired with courses, intended to highlight the local ingredients on your plate. Service is expected to be roughly 5 courses to be paired with Cypress and Grove beers.

The Giving Garden looks forward to seeing you there!
