CAS @60 New Directions in African Studies
The 60th Annual Carter Conference, “New Directions in African Studies,” offers an enriching exploration of African studies through diverse panels. Topics range from the politics of the environment, innovative teaching methods, collaboration in conflict-affected areas, youth and generational shifts, to global health challenges and rethinking African Studies itself. Esteemed speakers from various institutions will present insights, fostering discussions that bridge past achievements with future aspirations in African studies, highlighting its dynamic evolution and interdisciplinary impact.
