Featuring an eight-lane, competition-quality, 440-meter rubberized track and interior field, Fred Cone Park is the premier track in Gainesville.

This is the first track and field facility in the tri-county area that is open to the public. The interior of the track includes field event areas such as the pole vault, shot put, high jump and long jump and a multi-purpose field. Two basketball courts are located in the southeast portion of the park. Additional parking and a picnic area are also provided.

Restroom facilities are available 7am to 9pm seven days a week.

A branch location of the Alachua County Library District is located here and is open 5 days a week.
