The Gainesville Big Band, led by the Marco Thomas, is excited to present their upcoming musical event, Funk in the Trunk! Taking place on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 2pm. Featuring the music of James Brown, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Chicago, Trombone Shorty, and more! This event is sure to impress music lovers of all ages. The venue is conveniently located at Meizon Church, which can be found at 3411 NW 83rd St. Gainesville, FL 32606. Attendees can expect an afternoon filled funk classics that will keep their toes tapping.
