Salsa De Mayo at Blackadder Brewing

Time to salsa!
Salsa the food or salsa the dance? BOTH, actually!
Kick off Salsa De Mayo with a salsa competition from 12:30PM-3PM and then the festivities will continue with some salsa dancing with friends from Gainesville Latin Dance from 3-6PM.
All are welcome to join in on this fun and highly energetic event!
Entry forms must be submitted by Wednesday, May 1st.

Salsa Contest Rules:
Entrants must provide a minimum of one pint of their favorite salsa recipe made and ready to sample. All variations are acceptable (Pico de Gallo, Chile Verde, Traditional, Fruit Salsa, etc.)
One entry per person.
Set up and sign in begins at 12:30PM.
Judging begins at 1:30PM.
Entries MUST BE made by the participant.
Recipe must be original with no use of commercially prepared salsa.
Chips and other garnishments are allowed for presentation purposes.
Chips for judging will be provided by Blackadder Brewing.
Salsa will be judged on these criteria:
Appearance
Taste
Aroma
Originality
*Appearance scores will be judged on the attractiveness of the presentation.
AND, we will have a fan favorite winner.
Patrons will sample the salsas after the judges and will vote for their favorite!
