Join us Sunday, May 7th 12 pm – 1 pm at Hogtown Creek Headwaters Nature Center (1500 NW 45th Ave). “Daily Adventures of a Wildlife Rehabilitator—What does a Wildlife Rehabilitator Really Do?” Do you know what to do when you find injured wildlife? What are some dos and don’ts when you encounter injured or orphaned wildlife. When is an animal injured and needing rescue versus normal behavior for young animals.

Nan Soistman is the Founder of Sunrise Wildlife Rehabilitation in High Springs. They specialize in rehabilitation and release of injured, orphaned, or displaced native wildlife in North Central Florida. The event is for all ages, but is adult-oriented presentation. Pre-registration is not required for this event.
