WHAT IS THE STUDIO TOUR?
Working artists in the Gainesville area open up their studios to the general public every year for a weekend in July.
WHAT DOES ONE DO DURING THE STUDIO TOUR?
On this self-guided tour, you have the unique opportunity to witness art in the making through impromptu demonstrations and examples of the artistic process in various stages. You’ll be able to ask each artist questions about their process, see that process in action, and purchase a wide range of original works of art directly from each artist.
WHERE IS THIS LOCATED?
The main hub for the Studio Tour is at Gainesville Fine Arts Association, located at 1314 S Main Street. Alongside the Gallery, there will be 24 studios with 30 Artists total around town that you can visit!
