Call to Artists – Poe Springs Plein Air Paint-Out

Hello Artists,
You are invited to participate in the Poe Springs Plein Air Paint-Out event during the inaugural Santa Fe Springs Celebration at Poe Springs on April 27th, 2024. There are no fees to participate and no commission fees, just a great opportunity to paint, exhibit, sell your work and have fun! The event will include live music, educational exhibits, vendors, food trucks, a beer garden and more! You’ll need to bring your own table, equipment, chairs and tent (if needed), and the Celebration will bring the crowds.
For the paint-out, you may pick your spot and start working ahead of the event. This could be a few days or even weeks, your decision. You are asked to be onsite and painting (finishing) your work the day of the event so that people can see you in action. Midway through the Celebration event (see schedule below), paint-out artists bring their finished work to the covered porch area of the Poe Springs Lodge (onsite) and display to the public. All paint-out participants artists are asked to be present for the showing to talk about your work and vision.

PARK OPENS AT 8:00 am
Event Date and time: April 27th, 2024, from 12 to 6 pm
Registration deadline: April 24th, 2024
Artist’s registration/check-in 8:30 – 9:30 am
Artist’s display work: 4:30 pm, covered porch at the Lodge
Location: Poe Springs Park, High Springs
Expected attendance: 800-1500
