What's Good

From downtown gallery walls and blooming native plants to the cool, clear blues of nearby springs, Alachua County comes into full color this weekend in What’s Good®. On Friday, Artwalk Gainesville and the opening reception for the Gainesville Fine Arts Association’s Summer Showcase bring creativity to downtown, while Alachua County’s newest gallery, The Art Collective, opens with the exhibit “Be the Sun in Someone’s Darkness.” Pollinator Palooza at First Magnitude adds another bright note with activities celebrating bees, butterflies and the native plants that keep our landscapes blooming.

For a refreshing change of scenery, trade the bright hues of the galleries for nearby springs, where North Central Florida’s natural palette is on full display.
