A USEF/USDF Recognized Dressage Show. Horses and riders compete for scores and ribbons at all of the levels of dressage from training level through the highest level of Grand Prix. Saturday, January 11 – Sunday, January 12, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
First organized by the late Metta Baxter, this popular course teaches how to train your horse to drive safely. It was Metta Baxter’s aim to share the knowledge and enthusiasm of the local driving community with newcomers interested in learning about the sport. The Metta Baxter Driving Class has been offered for over 20 years and continues to grow in depth and volume of information for both the new driver as well as experienced drivers wishing to sharpen their skills. Registration is full.

“Horses are majestic, loving animals, and we encourage our local and loyal supporters will come out so that we can continue our lifesaving efforts for years to come.” Several of the region’s most talented dressage instructors will donate their time and skills to perform a benefit clinic for Horse Protection Association of Florida (HPAF). It is a day all about horses and raising awareness about equine rescues, sanctuaries and their lifesaving work caring for at-risk horses in their communities who have often been abused or neglected.
