Tu Viện A Nan Buddhist Temple and Statue Park
Built in 2010, the Tu Viện A Nan Buddhist Temple is situated on a serene forested park in southeast Gainesville and features a statue garden consisting of three large-scale Buddhist statues from Vietnam that were installed on the property in January 2017 and weigh a combined 85 tons.
The grounds offer a shaded, easy stroll with a few steps and ledges for sitting. Walk the serene temple grounds and pause for a moment with statues reaching 50 feet in the air.
The monastery and statue garden is a beautiful setting for ceremonies, group classes and mediation, and are open to people of any faith and origin. The grounds can accommodate groups of up to 100, and the Temple fits up to 50 people. Only vegetarian food can be served on the grounds.
