World Refugee Day Food Festival at the Matheson History Museum

The Greater Gainesville International Center will be hosting an amazing food festival featuring authentic dishes from a host of exceptional countries and cuisines from around the world, prepared by local home chefs.

Cuisines represented will include dishes from: Afghanistan, Burma/Myanmar, Eritrea/Sudan, Haiti, Iran, Cuba, Laos, and Venezuela (this is a working list, check the IG account for an updated list!). Join your neighbors in honoring the incredible journey that refugee neighbors take, celebrate a diverse and inclusive community, and show your support for exceptional people from around the world who call Gainesville home!
