Overview

Return to the Overlook Hotel during a screening of Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining.” Jack Nicholson stars as Jack Torrance, a writer who becomes winter caretaker at an isolated Colorado hotel with his wife, Wendy, played by Shelley Duvall, and their son, Danny. As Danny’s disturbing visions reveal the hotel’s dark secrets, Jack’s behavior becomes increasingly dangerous. Based on Stephen King’s novel, the 1980 horror classic follows the family as isolation and supernatural forces turn their stay into a fight for survival.
