Pearl & the Oysters is a French-American duo consisting of Juliette Pearl Davis and Joachim Polack, known for their playful, eclectic space-age pop sound that blends jazz, global pop, and electronic influences. After meeting in high school in Paris and bonding over shared musical interests like Burt Bacharach, they formed the band around 2015, initially making music while studying musicology in college before moving to Florida and eventually settling in Los Angeles. Their signature sound features lush arrangements, small instruments, and toy synths, creating a dreamy and nostalgic atmosphere with themes of longing and alienation.
The Dewars are an eclectic indie folk-pop band from Florida, founded by identical twin brothers Anthony and Zachary Dewar, known for their complex, narrative-driven music that blends diverse genres and draws on 60s influences. After moving from Florida to New York and back, they continue to make music, recently releasing new material and sharing their journey with fans.
