Pick up a free plant, grab a bite to eat, try out a special beer and support pollinator conservation at the Florida Museum’s Pollinator Palooza.

The annual event features researchers from the Florida Museum’s Daniels Lab; discover the importance of pollinators, native plants, wildflowers and more at this family-friendly event. Plus, each visitor may choose one plant from a variety of native species, available on a first come, first served basis until they run out.

While the exhibit building is being remodeled, the museum can be found in the community as “Florida Museum on the Go!” Look for the museum’s education team and discover what they’ve brought to share.

First Magnitude’s special brew is called “Lopsided Hazy IPA” after lopsided Indiangrass, the host plant of the arogos skipper butterfly. Proceeds help support butterfly recovery efforts across Florida.
