people at a table featuring pollinator friendly plants

Pick up a free plant, grab a bite to eat, try out a special beer and support pollinator conservation at Pollinator Palooza.

Pollinators are an extremely important part of the ecosystem but you don’t have to be a researcher to help protect them. Learn about the importance of native plants, wildflowers and more at this family-friendly event. Chat with researchers from the Florida Museum’s Daniels Lab about their conservation work with at-risk butterfly species and the plants they rely on to thrive. Look for the museum’s education team and discover what they’ve brought to share as the Florida Museum on the Go!

Each visitor can choose one plant from a variety of native species, available on first come, first served basis until they run out. First Magnitude’s special brew is called “Lopsided” Hazy IPA after lopsided Indiangrass, the host plant of the arogos skipper butterfly. 10% of proceeds help support imperiled butterfly recovery efforts in Florida.
