Step back at O’Leno Heritage Day in Alachua County with a celebration of local history at O’Leno State Park. Living history demonstrations, handcrafted goods and food trucks bring the traditions and stories of the region to life in a scenic park setting. O’Leno State Park is a beautiful park in North Florida, with a very unique feature – the Santa Fe River flows completely underground in a sink and then reappears above ground three miles away in River Rise Preserve State Park. While at the festival, extend your day exploring the trail system at O’Leno State Park which is connected to that of River Rise Preserve State Park, creating over 35 miles of multi-use trails for biking, hiking or horseback riding.
