Celebrate shared creativity and cultural expression at Museum Nights: Finding Silver Linings, featuring the acclaimed traveling exhibition “Silver Linings: Celebrating the Spelman Art Collection.”
The evening includes poetry, dance and step performances, spoken word, gallery talks, art-making activities, and informational booths hosted by UF fraternities, sororities, and campus groups. Artist-in-Residence Jessica Clermont will be on hand for conversations and insight into her work. Poetry will be presented by the E. Stanley Richardson Bard & Broadside Poetry Festival and winners of the Harn’s Words on Canvas competition. An NPHC step show highlights step as a cultural art form and symbol of unity, with Alpha Phi Alpha exploring the role of Black Greek organizations in preserving and promoting Black culture on campus and beyond.
