Overview

Get ready for fall gardening during Jumpstart the Season, an annual gathering hosted by the Micanopy Community Garden at the historic Thrasher Warehouse. Visit stations for garden tool sharpening, bamboo tool handles, seed starting, beekeeping, outdoor first aid and garden exercises, with bat guano fertilizer available to take home. Donations support the community garden. Afterward, make a day of Micanopy with the Third Saturday Plant Xchange & Maker’s Market, local dining and nearby shops and museums.
