Celebrate traditional African culture at the Homowo-Afi African Festival.
The word Homowo translates to “hooting (or yelling) at hunger.” The annual festival is modeled after celebrations held in Ghana, featuring authentic foods, singing, marching, dancing, drumming, traditional music and ceremonies. On Friday, August 1, a purification ceremony at the springs washes away negativity from the past year.
