Take a journey through past to the present with Jen Green, archaeologist and curator of our South Florida Archaeology and Ethnography collection. Uncover how Florida’s native people thrived using their natural surroundings, learn about ancient tools, traditions, and the stories they tell about life long ago.

The Florida Museum of Natural History hosts weekend Family Discovery Camps this summer. Explore the natural world with scientists and Museum staff in this hands-on experience for the whole family. Discover how scientists work in the field and learn how to use the tools of science yourself. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothes that can get dirty or wet! Camps are designed for children in grades K-6 and their family.
