Classical Piano with Hung-Kuan Chen

Hear acclaimed pianist Hung-Kuan Chen perform as part of the Distinguished Pianist Series. A top prize winner in the Arthur Rubinstein, Busoni and Geza Anda International Piano Competitions, Chen currently serves on the faculty of The Juilliard School. The recital features Bach-Busoni’s Chorale Prelude “Nun Komm der Heiden Heiland,” Beethoven’s “Hammerklavier” Sonata and selections by Chopin, including mazurkas, nocturnes and the Polonaise-Fantasy. Chen’s visit is made possible entirely through funding from the Distinguished Pianist Series.
