Nocturnal Neighbors: Insect Diversity and Puppets

Create shadow puppets while learning about the fascinating world of nocturnal insects during Nocturnal Neighbors: Insect Diversity and Puppets. Hosted by the Florida Museum of Natural History and the University of Florida Field & Fork gardens, this free workshop features local artist Ang DeCarlis guiding participants in making paper shadow puppets before showcasing them on a light screen. Lepidopterist Vaughn Shirey will also share insights into nighttime insects and conservation efforts. All materials are provided, and advance registration is required.
