Florida’s Story

Florida water history takes focus during “Florida’s Story, as Told by Water,” a special presentation exploring how water shaped the state’s geology, ecosystems, wildlife, and human cultures. Led by Lars Andersen as part of the Perspectives in the Park series, the program examines Florida’s undersea beginnings and the importance of the region known as the “Springs Heartland” of the world. Created for nature enthusiasts, history lovers, and lifelong learners, the monthly series highlights expert perspectives on science, history, art, and the environment through engaging public discussions.
