The Waldo Homecoming Festival is a three-day community celebration filled with fun, food, and fellowship. This annual event brings together families, friends, and visitors from near and far to honor the rich history and vibrant spirit of Waldo.
Friday Night – Praise in the Park
Kick off the weekend with an evening of inspirational music and fellowship, featuring local choirs, musicians, and speakers.
Saturday – Parade & Family Fun Day
Start the day with the Homecoming Parade, showcasing classic cars, local businesses, schools, churches, and community organizations. After the parade, enjoy a day full of family fun with food trucks, crafters, vendors, bounce houses, games, and entertainment for all ages.
Sunday – 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
Wrap up the weekend with a cash-prize basketball tournament and community cookout, perfect for athletes and spectators alike.
This festival isn’t just about fun—it’s about community unity. Funds raised support local youth programs, family events, and ongoing community improvement efforts organized by the Waldo Community New Vision Coalition (WCNVC).
