Join the High Springs Historical Society for a three-hour presentation with John P. Walsh on the American Civil War. Covering 1861-1865, explore the causes of the war, major battles, key leaders and Florida’s role, including the nearby Battle of Olustee. The evening includes a short intermission and museum tour, followed by a focused segment on Gettysburg and time for Q&A.
The museum is wheelchair accessible. Admission is free. Donations support the all-volunteer non-profit Historical Society.
