Community blood drive events during EMS Week invite residents to support local emergency responders and patients through a series of donation opportunities. Hosted by LifeSouth Community Blood Centers in partnership with local healthcare and emergency services organizations, the week includes blood drives, donor appreciation gifts, and a special lunch event recognizing EMS personnel. Donors will receive a commemorative T-shirt and gift card while helping strengthen the local blood supply. Additional community blood drives throughout the week provide more opportunities to give locally and support lifesaving care across Alachua County.
