There are over 100 miles of trails in Alachua County for biking and hiking. With many park closures, it may be difficult to figure out where you can still go for outdoor relaxation, recreation and exercise. CITY NATURE CHALLENGE 2020

This weekend, join “Community Scientists” around the world by participating in the global iNaturalist City Nature Challenge, April 24-27. Get outside and document all the plants and animals in your yard or neighborhood, then post to iNaturalist through the website or app.
Ensure Alachua County is represented by sharing your natural discoveries! Participating is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
- Create an account at https://www.inaturalist.org/ or download the iNaturalist app
- Take pictures of plants and animals in your yard and neighborhood (make sure your geo locator is on so it records that the photo was taken in Alachua County)
- Post to iNaturalist through website or app
