This new monthly music series presents a diverse lineup of artists, presented by MusicGNV and the City of Gainesville. Thursday’s showcase features Bohemian Sunshine, Mei, Kyle Keller, Rafael Rivera, Pose Norma, Quincy Allen Flint, The Housing Crisis, Mace, Ben White and Sammie Daigle from the outdoor stage at Bo Diddley Plaza.

Wind Down for the Weekend with Reggae Music from King Eddie and Pili Pili at the Free Fridays Concert Series

Downtown Gainesville 

Pili Pili is Swahili for pepper pepper, a type of hot sauce. The band is lead by bassist and lead vocalist Edward “King Eddie” Witt who formed the band in 1979.  

The Free Fridays Concert Series is the region’s longest-running free outdoor concert series featuring local and regional talent. Grab dinner at a downtown Gainesville restaurant, and find a cozy spot on the Bo Diddley Plaza lawn to enjoy a live music concert every Friday night through October.
