Enjoy a stroll through the small town of High Springs, lined with antique shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants.

Located near the Santa Fe River, High Springs is known as the Gateway to the Springs with quick access to Poe Springs, Gilchrist Blue Springs, and Ginnie Springs. The history of the town dates back to the railroads. In 1895 the Plant Railroad System established its headquarters in High Springs, servicing hundreds of steam locomotives. Today, the town welcomes over a million visitors each year. High Springs is not to be missed on a Florida road trip itinerary and makes a perfect pit-stop when you are on your way to a river paddling adventure.
