The Cotton Club Museum and Cultural Center (CCMCC), located at 837 SE 7th Avenue in Gainesville’s historic Springhill community, is a must-see stop on Gainesville’s cultural arts circuit. Housed in the historic Cotton Club building, its primary mission is to preserve African American history and culture through the collection and display of African American art and historical artifacts along with the presentation of cultural arts programming. Visitors to the museum will receive a history of the Cotton Club building from a trained docent and have the opportunity to view an African American art exhibit.
