Writers Alliance of Gainesville Workshop: How to Write About Local History presented by local authors Richard Gartee and Shamrock McShane.

The Writers Alliance of Gainesville (WAG) presents a Workshop for all ages to attend on “How to Write about Local History.” This presentation will be at the Millhopper Branch Library on Sunday, July 9 from 2:30 pm to 4 pm. This workshop is given by members of WAG, local historians, and authors Richard Gartee ( Hippodrome: The Last 50 Years) and Shamrock McShane who is a Screenwriter, Producer, and Local Historian with many books.
This workshop is intended to teach how to find resources, do research, and put your findings into a short story or novel. This is on local history but can be used on any writing project. Free to the public held in a room for comfort and privacy. WAG is a non-profit organization if you are over the age of 18 and would like to join please go to our website or come to this workshop.
