In a small Russian town at the turn of the century, three sisters live but they yearn for the excitement of their former home in Moscow. Russian soldiers provide them some companionship and culture, but nothing can live up to Moscow in their eyes. Olga, Masha, Irina and their brother, Andrei, search for meaning in Chekhov’s tragicomic masterpiece about broken dreams, inaction and missed opportunities.
