Registration is now open for the (Delayed) 8th Annual Hogtown 5K Beer Run — Fall Edition benefiting Climb for Cancer at beautiful Haile Plantation! Enjoy this unique cross-country run on Saturday, October 2, at 9:00 AM which winds along park trails and loops through Haile Plantation.
Adult runners can enjoy delicious craft beer from Swamp Head Brewery at the finish line, along with food by Limerock Road, root beer for the kids, and music and entertainment. There’s something for everyone. All proceeds benefit the Climb for Cancer Foundation supporting cancer patients and their families at UF Health.
Serious and casual runners alike will love Gainesville’s awesome 5K Beer Run, which has become a tradition. Pre-register online by Thursday, September 23rd at midnight to be guaranteed your official Hogtown 5K Beer Run Technical T-shirt. Pre-registration closes Thursday, September 30th at 8:00 PM.
***If you registered for the canceled 2020 Hogtown 5K Beer Run, and did not request a refund, no need to register again. You are covered.***
Adult runners – $30 pre-registration / $40 day-of price
Student/Youth – $20 pre-registration / $25 day-of price
1/2 Pint Root Beer Run (Kids up to age 10) – $10
Day-of registration opens Saturday, April 4th at 7:30 am. Registration and starting line are at 5030 SW 91st Court. Runners may park along SW 91st Street or anywhere they can find an unmarked spot in Haile Village and walk to the registration and starting location behind Limerock Road restaurant.
