Black C Art is pleased to welcome artist-in-residence, Alex Kantchev, who has studied piano for over a decade and trained with Dr. Kevin Hampton at the Music Academy of Southeast Missouri University and Dr. Yuko Kato at Southern Illinois University.
Alex has competed at the MMTA, MTNA and other prestigious festivals and piano competitions. Currently, he’s a freshman at the UF School of Music and is studying piano performance with Dr. Jasmin Arakawa.
