Photographing Hippodrome Plays

Author Richard Gartee will be joined by four distinguished photographers who captured the moments on the Hippodrome stage over the course of fifty years and 440 theatrical productions. Richard will discuss the decision process in selecting the 428 photos which illustrate his book, The Hippodrome Theatre First Fifty Years, and the effort required to track down and restore many of the older photos.

He will be joined by photographers Randy Batista, Michael Eaddy, John Moran, and Gary Wolfson, who will add their own recollections of photographing Hippodrome plays.
