Native Wildlife of North Florida at Devils Millhopper State Park

Join Sunrise Wildlife Rehabilitation and the wildlife ambassadors at 11:00 AM Saturday December 8th. Both native Owls and Mammals will be featured at this interpretive program. SWR is a all volunteer 501c3 non profit serving the community thru wildlife rehabilitation and education. This event is free: donations are appreciated and go towards wildlife undergoing rehabilitation at the facility and the wildlife ambassadors care and feeding.

“Einstein” a Great Horned Owl, “Merlin” a Barred owl, “Ruby Begonia” and “Peach” Eastern Screech Owls, “Nova” a Virginia Opossum, and “Vlad” a Southern Flying Squirrel all enjoy a comfortable, purposeful life serving our community thru interpretive wildlife programs during the fall and winter months. These programs are designed to enlighten and instill respect and deepen appreciation for native wildlife and our natural world.

Admission is free with park admission.
