Live Blues with The Reverend Shawn Amos & The Brotherhood
January 19 @ 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm$5 – $15
The Reverend Shawn Amos is a Los Angeles-based chart-topping Bluesman, record producer, and renown digital marketing entrepreneur, ready to turn any venue into a 1960s Chicago Blues club. His foot stomping, harp-wailing performances, like tent revivals of yore, energize the faithful, and convert the wayward to the Rev’s message of booty-shakin’, deeply joyful Blues.
He has a new band with him: The Reverend Shawn Amos & The Brotherhood is a deep roots collaboration between the Rev and some old friends: Drummer Brady Bale (Buddy & Julie Miller, Indigo Girls), Bassist Christopher Thomas (Norah Jones, Macy Gray), and longtime Rev guitarist Chris “Doctor” Roberts. Amos has gathered together his band the Brotherhood, creating a sense of home in his rootlessness. Blade, Thomas, and Roberts provide not only musical, but also spiritual and emotional support for embracing new territory, artistically and otherwise.
The High Dive show will be his only Florida club date this month.
Opening the show is The Shakedown, which is easily one of the region’s fastest growing bands and vocalist Michelle Banfield is a very dynamic and beloved performer, which makes them a perfect fit for this show!
