LifeSouth Teams Up with Dance Alive National Ballet to Save Lifes

LifeSouth invites the community to help replenish the local blood supply when they team up with Dance Alive National Ballet. Donors can stop by LifeSouth’s donor center at 1221 NW 13th Street from October 1 through October 20 to receive two tickets to Dance Alive National Ballet’s performance of Dracula & Vampyra on October 25.
LifeSouth is the sole provider of blood to Gainesville hospitals, including UF Health, HCA Florida North Florida Hospital and the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center.
All donors will receive a recognition t-shirt and a complimentary cholesterol screening. Blood donors must be at least 17 (16 with parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. A photo ID is also required.
