The seasonal Art Walk events return to historic downtown High Springs on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 from 12pm to 5pm featuring 15-20 local artists and makers situated on the sidewalks of downtown. Downtown High Springs also offers many eclectic restaurants and shops showcasing High Springs’ walkable, charming small-town hospitality they have become famous for.
This seasonal monthly event is an opportunity for local artisans and artists to demonstrate and display their talents and offer their works for sale in front of storefronts throughout the downtown area. Participating merchants will offer specials and sales during the event.
Located at Lanza Gallery and Art Supplies – This is the last weekend to experience the Santa Fe Plein Air Exhibit. The paintings were created during a week in April, when up to 20 local and out of town artists painted the springs and surrounding area “en Plein Air” on location. 10% of all paintout sales will go to the Howard T. Odum Florida Springs Institute for preservation of our waters.
Located at Good News Arts – Good News Arts has an ongoing show “Obscured Messages,” featuring 5 regional fiber artists. They will be featuring several artists at the gallery for artwalk. There is an embroidery workshop that day from 12 Noon – 3pm.
