Join Cofrin Curator of Asian Art, Dr. Tongyun Yin, for a gallery talk highlighting the exhibition She/Her/Hers: Women in the Arts of China which explores the intersecting roles women have played as pictorial subjects, artists, and consumers of art in premodern, modern, and contemporary China. Discover the newest additions of hanging scrolls, fan painting, and calligraphic arts by women artists – including a metaphorical picture of female literacy in 19th century China by painter and poet Lin Puqing (1821-1873).
