October 24 @ 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm

2021 fall book sale

Today is day 2 of this fun and popular 5 day sale of more than 500,000 gently used books, art, games, puzzles, CDs, movies, music scores, comics, magazines and much, much more at BARGAIN prices. Most items are priced between 25 cents and $4. On Tuesday, all items are half price. On Wednesday, all items are 10 cents! All proceeds benefit the Alachua County Library District projects.

The bookhouse is huge, larger than a football field. With more than 60 categories from architecture to zoology, there is something for EVERYONE. Of special interest is our enlarged Collector’s Corner which offers many valuable first edition, signed, and rare out of print volumes and maps. This section draws collectors from throughout the Southeastern USA. The Collector’s Corner is not open on Wednesday.

CDC COVID-19 guidelines (masks and social distancing.) will be followed. Patrons are asked to bring their own bags/boxes for their purchases.

Cash, checks, credit cards, Google Pay, and Apple Pay accepted. Come join the fun!!!
