Florida Museum hosts ‘Museum in the Parks: Herpetology’ at Paynes Prairie

Learn about Florida’s reptiles and amphibians by exploring collections, hiking and participating in socially distanced activities with Florida Museum of Natural History researchers at Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Monday, May 17. Participants will receive a personalized tour of the area, an up-close look at Museum specimens and experts to help identify animals seen during the program. This unique event is best suited for families with children in grades 1-6. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be implemented. Admission:
$12 per adult/child pair, includes park entrance fee. $6 per additional person.
