Florida Museum hosts free screening of the eco-science fiction film ‘Silent Running’ Oct. 13

The Florida Museum of Natural History will host a free movie screening and panel discussion on Thursday, Oct. 13 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in partnership with Imagining Climate Change and George A. Smathers Libraries of the University of Florida. In honor of the 50th anniversary of “Silent Running,” the conversation will feature museum staff and UF faculty with expertise in science fiction film history, disability studies and extraterrestrial botany.
