Florida Museum and Alachua County Library District host children’s book discussion

The Florida Museum of Natural History and Alachua County Library District will host “NEA Big Read Meetup: Swimming with Sharks” Dec. 5 from 10 to 11 a.m. In this FREE virtual book discussion, library staff and special guest speakers talk about the children’s book “Swimming with Sharks: The Daring Discoveries of Eugenie Clark” by Heather Lang. This meetup is best suited for children in grades K-3 and is part of the NEA Big Read, a series of events building community while lifting the voices of women in science.
